Mountain Measurement is pleased to announce a new series of web-based NCLEX® Program Reports Professional Development Seminars, titled the Special Topics Series. The seminars in this series are intended to address timely topics and are targeted for all nursing educators.
The Spring 2020 Special Topics Series includes:
5002 - Understanding the Impact of the Modified NCLEX® Exam on the NCLEX® Program Reports
(Friday June 19, 2020 1:00-2:00 PM ET)
5003 - Evaluating Distance Learning Programs in Nursing
(Friday June 19, 2020 2:30 - 4:00 PM ET)
Karen Frith, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, CNE, author of several works on distance learning in education including Distance Education in Nursing and Assessment of Online Courses and Programs, will be joining Brian Bontempo, Ph.D., and Daniel Wilson as a facilitator/presenter. Karen is an outstanding resource when it comes to distance learning, and we're excited that she'll be leading the seminar on evaluating distance learning programs.
Each of the NCLEX® Program Reports Professional Development Seminars Special Topics Series seminars are 60 to 90 minutes in length, delivered via zoom.com and include a mix of presentations, discussions, polls and large group exercises. Continuing education contact hours are available to all individuals completing these seminars through the Alabama Board of Nursing.
